Spicy Hot Chocolate
You will need:
- 1kg. milk
- 100gr. honey
- 1 vanilla stick
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 400gr. couverture chocolate (60%-66% cocoa, melted)
Steps:
- Put the milk, the honey, the vanilla, the cinnamon and the pepper in a pot.
- When it starts to boil, take the pot off the stove and add the melted chocolate.
- Leave the mixture for 10', then give it a good stir.
- Throw away the vanilla and the cinnamon and heat the mixture again (not too much).
- Then serve the mixture in 6-7 cups.
Tips:
- Melt the chocolate couverture using Bain-marie.
