You will need:
- 250gr. butter
- 100gr. caster sugar
- 125gr. dark chocolate
- 5 tablespoons cognac or dark rum
- 5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 50gr. petit beurre biscuits
Steps:
- Melt the butter in a pan on low temperature.
- Put the dark chocolate in the melted butter and mix well.
- Take the melted butter away from the heat.
- In a large bowl, put the petit beurre biscuits and break them in small pieces.
- Put the cognac (or the rum) in the butter mixture and mix.
- Put the butter mixture in the large bowl and mix very well.
- When the biscuits are covered, leave the mixture to cool down.
- Once the mixture is cool, place greaseproof paper on a large tray and with the help of a teaspoon, form small spheres.
Tips:
- You can cover them with melted chocolate (dark or white), caster sugar, ground coconut, cocoa powder or anything you like.
- You can also add some flavouring of your choice (for example orange or mocha flavouring) or chopped walnuts on step 5.
